Are you a board-approved supervisor in North Carolina?
Yes. Christal Carmichael holds licensure as both an LCMHC and LCAS in North Carolina and is qualified to provide clinical supervision to LCMHCA associates working toward their full licensure hours through the NC Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors.
What is the difference between clinical supervision and professional coaching?
Clinical supervision is a board-regulated relationship focused on clinical skill development, case consultation, and professional accountability — required for LCMHCA licensure. Professional coaching is a separate, voluntary engagement focused on career strategy, practice growth, and professional identity. Many of our clients pursue both simultaneously.
